Baby bedroom theme selection is not an activity that you want to stumble into blindly. If you proceed with a plan in mind you may be able to save yourself some time, money and be satisfied with the design of the nursery much longer. Once you have selected your special theme you will then be purchasing coordinating themed baby items with your chosen themed motifs. If you have chosen to be told whether you are having a baby boy or a baby girl, you can put together a layout of your modern baby nursery decor right away.

A mom may be able to pass off pastel colors in a baby boy's nursery for a short period of time. Why not save a little money and go ahead and give the room a masculine feel right from the beginning? Revel in your super girly baby bedroom design before that baby girl knows more about nursery design than her mommy.

Here's a suggestion, for the first few years decorate your baby's nursery theme to in whatever design that you want. After that, consider your baby's personality, his likes and dislikes and proceed accordingly with the nursery design process. Your baby have an affinity for the colorful butterflies that you found captivating before he was born. If not, be ready to make some minor adjustments in design. Get ready to build a theme around your baby boy's hobby of watching football on TV or your little girls budding career as a soccer star.
